Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ Office of Orientation

Orientation is required for all First Time in College (FTIC) and Transfer students. During orientation, students will meet their Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ faculty and staff, and learn about academic expectations, insurance and immunization requirements, as well as health and safety resources on campus. Orientation helps to prepare students for their first year at Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬, easing their transition to the university.

Be sure to review Orientation’s website to find upcoming orientation dates.

For any orientation-related questions, please contact myorientation@usf.edu.

MyBullsPath Portal

is a one-stop on-boarding portal that allows students to complete their tasks all in one place (like registering for orientation or applying for housing). The portal is designed for newly admitted undergraduate students, both domestic and international, for all three Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ campuses (Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee).

Follow these steps to access MyBullsPath:

  1. Students must use their NetID and password to log into the .

    • Green means the task has been completed.
    • Red means the task needs to be completed.
    • Yellow means the task is in progress.
    • Gray means the task will need to be completed in the future.

steps for using mybullspath

Priority First Steps:

Pay Admissions Deposit (Freshmen only)

**Freshman Only: Freshmen are required to pay a nonrefundable admission deposit of $200, which will be applied toward their first semester's tuition charge. Students should pay this fee as soon as they are ready to commit to Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬.

This nonrefundable deposit will allow students to both confirm and reserve their place in the class. However, this deposit is separate from students’ housing application fee. Students failing to pay the deposit by the deadline may have their admissions offer and scholarships cancelled.

This is the first official step that students must take to secure their place at Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬.

Pay Deposit

*Transfer and Graduate Students are not required to submit an Admissions deposit, but they must register for Orientation and complete all other required onboarding next steps.

Complete Visa Requirements

All newly admitted international students must use iStart to complete the Glo-Bull Start checklist. The Glo-Bull Start checklist is designed to guide students through all of the immigration tasks they must complete as new international students at Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬.

Students will receive an email when their Glo-Bull Start checklist is ready.
