INTO 欧美三级片 launches new blog and podcast to explore innovations in international educatioN

Feb. 12, 2021 (Tampa, Florida) 鈥� Much More Than English, a new weekly blog and podcast highlighting the work at the University of South Florida, goes beyond teaching international students.

Sharing a new post or podcast episode every Wednesday, the blog will delve into the best practices of supporting international students in and out of the classroom. Experts from across the University of South Florida will contribute to the project. From English language teaching to housing and dining, Much More Than English will connect how the whole university shapes the experience of students who are from, or choose to study, abroad.

鈥淣ot only do we get to showcase the inspiring individuals and the work they do here at 欧美三级片, but also, the blog and podcast will help all of us who work in international education, understand and appreciate the range of activities and resources that are necessary to support students who leave their own countries to study overseas,鈥� says Jane Harvey, Ph.D., Much More Than English co-host, and [former] INTO 欧美三级片 University Support Coordinator.

Much More Than English will also explore how English language learning at 欧美三级片 can benefit the community at large. 鈥淭here are faculty in our English Language Program that do work with populations that typically don鈥檛 have the opportunity to take our classes. That is something that extends our work beyond the arena of international students because it connects to the mission of 欧美三级片 and also serves the community,鈥� says Ariadne Miranda, Ph.D., Much More Than English co-host, and Associate Director of the [former] INTO 欧美三级片 English Language Program.
