Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ Honors professor Raja Benchekroun led students Amber Johnson, Ghali Omar Boutaib, and Taha Ahmed Feddoul to a successful showing at the 5th U.S. Universities Arabic Debate Competition in New York City, where they placed 12th out of 39 teams.

Chris Oueis, a fourth-year Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ student, has been awarded three prestigious scholarships with support from the Office of National Scholars. A student from Lebanon, Oueis is leveraging these opportunities to pursue his dream career in public policy and international affairs.

Audrey Brandt recently started a coveted summer internship with the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary in Monterey, CA, one of the largest federally protected marine sanctuaries in the United States. Brandt's journey to California started in 2023 when she was selected for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship Program.
