ABA Student Assistance
The ABA Student Assistance Fund (#530025) and ABA Graduate Student Support (#530044) both support student work and initiatives of the Applied Behavior Analysis doctoral and masters programs. Expenses may include items such as equipment for student projects/research, scholarships, travel expenses for students to conferences and assistance with the costs of data collection/analysis. Restrictions apply.
Autism Services Fund (#530002)
The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at 欧美三级片 (CARD) is funded by the Florida Legislature through the Florida Department of Education and all services are provided free of charge. However, resources are limited and CARD relies on private support for a variety of services and programs not covered by state funding.
Autism Endowment Fund (#536001)
This fund supports the ongoing operating expenses of CARD-欧美三级片. Through the generous donations and pledges of the CARD Development Advisory Board members and friends of CARD, the Autism Endowment Fund was established in 2009.
Bob Friedman Endowed Scholarship (536018)
CFS has long been a national leader in children's mental health and now offers one of the few graduate programs to prepare leaders in this field. This scholarship is in honor of Dr. Bob Friedman, long-time Professor and Chair in CFS, who was a pioneer in promoting effective mental health services and policy for children and families. This scholarship will go to a graduate student in the last year of their study.
Children's Mental Health Network Scholarship
This fund (#530062) provides scholarships to Master鈥檚 students in the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences/Department of Child and Family Studies. All students who wish to apply must submit a 500 word essay explaining their interest in their chosen field, and what their plans are following graduation. Students selected will complete 6 credit hours of field experience in their last semester in the CABH program.
Child and Family Studies Fund (#530013)
To help address the growing number of children needing mental, social, and behavioral support, CFS conducts numerous research, training and service efforts each year relating to a variety of areas, including; child welfare reform, developmental disabilities, early childhood, mental health disparities, suicide prevention, school-based mental health services, transition to adulthood, and trauma recovery.
HIPPY Services Fund (#530004)
HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) Services Fund will be used to support and promote HIPPY programs in Florida, to assist HIPPY families in Florida, and to support and promote activities of the Florida HIPPY Training and Technical Assistance Center. The Learning Academy Success Fund (#530041)
LAUNCH, formerly The Learning Academy (TLA), is a customized transition program that assists in preparing young adults diagnosed with ASD for employment. LAUNCH provides services, supports, and experiential opportunities that develop and enhance each student's independence in meeting personal career goals.
Marriage and Family Therapy Program (#420013)
This fund supports the Marriage and Family Therapy Program Fund, which helps professionals in mental health, rehabilitation counseling, counselor education, social work, psychology, and other human service fields to enhance their knowledge and skills in marriage and family therapy. (420013)
Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling
This fund provides support for faculty research and development, student loans, receptions for students and professionals who volunteer time for lectures, field training supervision, etc., and other professional and training benefits not currently provided by the university. (421270)
