Contextual Architecture - TACO
Friday, Setember 20, 2024
6:00 - 7:00 pm CIS 1048

TACO advocates a return to the fundamental principles of architecture that prioritize the relationship between users, places, and contemporary needs. A detailed understanding of contextual factors—such as environmental conditions, cultural influences, and historical relevance—can lead to more effective and responsive architectural solutions. These contextual factors impact occupant well-being as well as the safety and functionality of built environments.
