She graduated from Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ St. Pete with her BA in Anthropology in 2007 and finished her MA in Women's and Gender Studies, as well as a graduate certificate in Women's Health in 2012. Her Master's thesis,  explores her own experience and that of other individuals diagnosed with PCOS in an effort to prompt health care professionals to listen to and validate embodied knowledge.

In 2009, Jennifer took over the Human Sexual Behavior course from her mentor Dr. Marilyn Myerson.  The course was originally developed in the mid-1970s and has grown and evolved along with ever-changing notions about sexuality, gender, and health.

In addition to teaching, Jennifer was also the Office Manager and Grad Program Coordinator for the department. Her research interests included women’s health, reproductive justice, and fat studies. When Jennifer wasn't on campus, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and a passel of cats.
