Students and staff came out in large numbers to represent the University of South Florida at the St. Petersburg Pride Parade. The largest Pride festival in the state of Florida, the yearly event brought together around 300,000 people to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.

Virtual pen pals to travel buddies: Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ class tours South Korea
Students just returned from Seoul, where they finally got to meet their pen pals from Yonsei University whom they’ve been video conferencing and messaging with throughout the spring semester. It’s the first study abroad program to begin virtually and the first faculty-led trip to South Korea since the start of the pandemic.

Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ remains among top finishers in state’s performance standings
Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ placed third overall in the state’s performance-based funding standings, which measure universities on a series of student success-based metrics. Since the state implemented the performance-based funding model in 2014, Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ is the only university to finish in the top four every year.

The approved plan includes financing for an estimated 35,000-seat facility that is scheduled to open by fall 2026. TheÌýstadiumÌýwill be builtÌýon the east side of the Tampa campus on a site known as Sycamore Fields, providing synergy with the ongoing expansion of the ŷÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ Athletics district.
