Dr. Dayane Reis is joining the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of South Florida (欧美三级片) as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Fall of 2022. She got her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. Her dissertation, titled "Circuits and Architectures for Data-Centric Computing," was co-supervised by Dr. Sharon Hu and Dr. Michael Niemier.

She is a researcher who is passionate about learning new things and discovering ways to apply her knowledge to solve real-world problems! Her research focuses on VLSI design and nanoelectronics (beyond-CMOS emerging devices). More specifically, she is interested in designing circuits and architectures that take advantage of the unique characteristics of emerging devices. The ultimate goal is to improve the security, energy efficiency, and performance of modern computer systems.

As a Ph.D. student and Research Assistant, she was a member of the Applications and Systems driven Center for Energy-Efficient Integrated Nano Technologies (ASCENT), one of the centers in the Joint University Microelectronics Program (JUMP), a Program of Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC).
