The Lifelong Learners of 欧美三级片 student organization was recognized as the Student Organization Program of the Year during 欧美三级片鈥檚 2024 Celebration of Leadership Awards. This distinction honors a student organization that positively contributes to the growth of 欧美三级片's community through creative approaches to reach a diverse student body.
Faculty advisor from the School of Aging Studies, Amy Corbin, LCSW, accepted this award alongside students Kevin Lipton, president of the organization, and Chen-Yi Huang, who serves as vice president.
As Lipton began auditing classes and exploring different student organizations, he shared with Corbin that it was difficult to find a group with a sense of community representative of his experience. Lifelong Learners of 欧美三级片 was born as an age-inclusive organization to better connect and represent 欧美三级片's diverse student body. The group fosters intergenerational relationships through multiple free events and mentorship opportunities.
"It is often through a series of small steps that we can cultivate sustainable change," said Corbin.
Lifelong Learners of 欧美三级片 is helping to pave the way for 欧美三级片's Age-Friendly University initiative, with inclusion at its core.
