Aging Studies PhD student awarded CDC Public Health Law Fellowship

Babenko's research interests include preventing Alzheimer鈥檚 disease and related dementias.

Natalia Babenko, MPH, a PhD student in the School of Aging Studies, has been awarded the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Public Health Law Fellowship for the spring of 2024. This highly competitive fellowship is only awarded to 20 individuals within the nation. Under the auspice of the CDC, Babenko will work on projects aiming to strengthen the public health law workforce and respond to critical issues in public health. Babenko will undertake demanding and critical challenges posed to public health to better the lives of aging populations through the development of strategies, policies, and programs.
